DeepfakePolicy is our own verification system for AI image detection, deepfake video checks and business document comparison. Check a single photo, process a batch or connect the detection API to your application.
Founded in Portugal in 2026
DeepfakePolicy was founded in 2026 by Sergei Gutc and is operated by Código Solidário Lda in Portugal. We created the platform to make checking digital content a practical part of everyday decisions, from reviewing a single photo to handling a business case.
Our mission
A convincing image can influence a purchase, a claim or a decision to trust someone. Our mission is to give people and businesses a straightforward way to examine the material in front of them, understand the findings and act with better information.
AI image detection and deepfake video checks
Is this photo AI-generated? Has this video been manipulated? Our system checks uploaded media for relevant signals and turns the findings into a readable report. Use it for unfamiliar profile photos, product listings, submitted claim images and short clips before you share or act on them.

- AI video and deepfake detector: review generated visuals, face manipulation and synthetic speech signals in supported clips.
Our own verification system
DeepfakePolicy brings file intake, analysis, result interpretation and reporting into one system. Our analysis workflow combines detector signals, available file information and visual review according to the check you choose. Source research can add public context when requested.
Your report separates what the checks found, where the findings differ and what needs a closer look. The score estimates AI-related patterns in the submitted file; the original file and its source provide further context for your decision.
Batch processing and API for businesses
Reviewing a queue of uploads should be as straightforward as checking one photo. Our company workspace brings batch checks, shared reports and case notes together, with member roles and spending controls. Developers can add the same analysis to an existing product through the API.
- Batch image and video checker: upload up to 50 files in the browser and export individual reports with a CSV summary.
- AI image and video detection API: submit jobs from your application and receive results as JSON, text or PDF.
Business Cross-check for photos and documents
Some questions need a comparison across several sources. Does a product label match a receipt? Do supporting documents match the main contract? Which invoice payments appear in the supplied bank statement? Business Cross-check compares the submitted material and links matches, discrepancies and open questions to the source.
